Regular Mass Times and Services

Sunday Masses at Sacred Heart Church, 418 Southchurch Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS1 2QB

Our regular Sunday Mass times are 5.30pm on Saturday evening and 11.00am on Sunday morning. During school terms, there is a separate Liturgy of the Word for children of primary-school age at the 11.00am Mass. After the 11.00am Mass there is a chance to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the church hall.

Our regular Sunday Mass is at 9.00am. During school terms, there is a separate Liturgy of the Word for children of primary-school age. After the Mass there is a chance to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the church hall.

Holy Days of Obligation

Masses for Holy Days of Obligation are celebrated at 9.30am at Sacred Heart and at 7.30pm at St John Fisher.

Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

A priest is available for individual confessions every Saturday 10.00-10.45am at Sacred Heart, and at other times by appointment
